Roubaix Weekend

Paris Roubaix is on Sunday. The “Hell of the North” or the “Queen of the Classics”. Everyone wants to win Roubaix. After last weekend, my money is on Fabian. Tornado Tom Boonen looks good, but I think Leopard Trek will do something special.

America celebrates this race with a few Roubaix-style races. Boone Roubaix, Perry Roubaix (in Perry Georgia), and Tour of the BattenKill to name just a few. Riders of all skill levels can test themselves on not-so-ordinary road conditions. Good luck to all competitors!

De Ronde is coming!

Yes, one day away from one of the great monuments in the pro cycling calendar. The Tour of Flanders or De Ronde van Vlaandren is Sunday and the stage is set for quite a battle. Check it out on Cyclingnews.com.

If you really want to get a taste of the cycling life there, buy a ticket to Bruxxles and catch a train to Oudenaarde where the official Ronde Museum is set up.

This place is bursting with cycling history and you can even get a guided tour with cycling legend Fredy Martens. They also have some of the most attractive staff front desk staff in the whole country.
